A while ago we had a chat about a Large dive watch being produced by a German and Italian collector… Plexi Crystal, large bezel without numbers, has a locking screw, really Tool steel finish, dials are sage green and black on a big mesh bracelet… they are not making many but it was pretty cool…

Anyone remember the name of them….?

Bien, pues esa es la cuestión. Tengo éste Askania desde hace un tiempo, y me gustaría sustituírle la correa. Tengo que decir que es una magnífica correa 20/20 gruesa, suave y flexible, pero estoy un poco cansado de las chinchetas.

Lo que pretendo es darle un aire más elegante, más de vestir.
No sé si le quedaría bien una marrón oscuro brillante, tal como llevan algunos Breitling, ó mejor una negra con el pespunte negro, como los IWC pilot…O cualquier otra que le quede bien, vaya.

En fin, que os pido y agradezco de antemano,vuestras sabias sugerencias,( )a ser posible con fotos) sobre éstas u otras correas que penséis le puedan dar más empaque a éste querido reloj.

PO +15 again :(

So my PO is about a month old. When I first got it, it was +20-+25. It settled down to a nice +2 – +3 for a couple weeks. I did a test last night and now it’s +10 (worn most of the day then sat flat over night).

I don’t really want to send it in for warranty yet and I guess it’s better fast than slow, but,

best place to purchase new rolex – how about Asia??

hi – i’m traveling for my job throughout Asia, South America, and Europe. and, i’m looking for a new Rolex for my wife.

is there any "best place" to purchase a rolex? i’m a noobie to the rolex discussion board, and could use a bit of guidance.

i’m in hong kong now, and wondered if this place is any better than others for purchasing one.

maybe there is no advantage based on location, but if anyone in the know can help, let me know!!

IWC Perpetual servicing / screen question

Hi all!

First time on a forum of any kind. Thought i’d try it out.

Got hold of my first IWC. Its a used number thats about 10 years old, A IWC 3750 Da Vinci Perpetual Calender. Was wondering if any of you enlightened souls would know of the following:

1) It needs a new glass screen..(i think they made them in mineral crystal for this model)

2) Could do with a service..moon phase seems slightly off, however not sure if its different because i live in the southern hemisphere

I live in sydney, australia.

Anyone with any suggestions as to how i could go abouts getting points 1) and 2) sorted would be most welcome!
